Does component cable make any different. Is so, does the brand name matter or any will do. I planning on buying one of those non-brand name from ebay. Thank in advance.

mine made a little difference on some games not others

prince of persia type games it looks a lot smoother

other games not much difference


best part of using it is that it frees up a scart socket on tv - it was worth the 6 quid just for that

hello,
i got the dragon brand set to the max of only 48p could not notice a real difference on a 62 plasma on most games Mortal combat was nicer and paper mario.

Component and 480p made my games look brighter and more jagged, so I just changed it back to 480i.

ok so my full post did kinda say that some games did have a slight noticable difference but not all games benefited. however i would say the largest benefit personally was the freeing up of the scart socket



each to their own reasons though
