Subtitle question about ripping main movie only

I ripped some movies but just the main movie only using CloneDVD. I made sure that the subtitle boxes were checked because I needed them. However, when I go to play the file (apocalypto) on my comp the subtitles aren't showing up. I think it might be because i'm not playing the whole file. I'm just opening one of the .99 GB files from the rip into the player. Will the subtitles appear if I burn the files to a disc?

If they're not showing up on when playing them from the hard drive chances are they probably won't be on the burned copy either.
Try playing it by opening the video_ts ifo and see if by chance you can see the subtitles.
For Apocalypto just pick the english subtitles and the unspecified audio only.
