My name's Shelby and I'm an experienced guitarist looking to join a serious band, or start a new band.

I'm 18 years old guy and have been playing guitar for around 10 years now. I have excellent improvisation skills, as most of the time when I sit down to play guitar I make up leads and rythm's off the bat. I can play both lead and rythm, whichever is needed.

My strongest genres are blues and classic rock, but have had a lot of expierience with Indy Rock and Alternative.

Here are some influences:

Indy/Alternative Rock:

The Strokes, Sonic Youth, Interpol, Bloc Party, Nirvana, Cold Play, Tiger Bear Wolf, The Flaming Lips, Butthole Surfers, The Melvins, The Killers, Explosions in the Sky, Queens of the Stoneage, Kings of Leon

Classic Rock/Blues:

Skip james, Robert Johnson, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Creme, The Beatles, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Simon and Garfunkle, The Velvet Underground, The Clash, ZZ Top, Heart, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, The Animals

I can't think of any more but that should give you a clue.

I've got my own transportation (a 1976 VW Bus, perfect for traveling to gigs) and I've got my own equipment including 2 mics and a P. A. if it's needed.
