Hi all, I hope this is in the right forum. I have been using peer guardian for a few months and never had a problem. Then last week I noticed it updated, and since then, whenever I try to visit certain sites, they won't load. For example i tried to go to wells fargo and no luck, then i exited peer guardian and tried again, and it popped right up. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Open PG2 and turn off HTML Filtering or whatever it is.

Allow HTTP, if peergaurdian is blinking in the system tray, HTTP is being blocked.

By allowing http, will that compromise the protection that program offers? Thanks for the quick responses.

That will stop you from being able to freely view webpages that start with the HTTP://..., i do think you can set it to allow certain webpages if you wanted. But i'm not on my XP pc to make sure about that.

What I meant was will it be safe to allow http all the time or should I block http when I am downloading torrents?

Http and P2P are completely seperate, so no, you don't have to have it up when downloding torrents.

Thank you very much for the help, I understand that part now. But just out of curiosity, why would that be an option if one has nothing to do with the other?

Becos http blocks other things. that's why you have different lists for different things.
