DRE when Wii is turned on with game in it!?

I have a wiid and everything is working great exept that when I try to play a game that was already in the Wii when it was turned on, the game will crash as soon as I start it. No problem for games inserted after the power up.
I'm using Ritek DVDs and never got any other DRE.

Never read anything about that, is this normal?
