Winavi chapter issues...

It seems that when I convert avi's to dvd using WINAVI i get a bit of lag/pause when the end of a/start of a chapter comes up. I set the chapter setting to be every 300secs, which is five minutes. I noticed that the movie lags/pauses every 5 mins. This cant just be a coincidence can it?

Anyone else having such issues? Anyone know how to avoid this? Its not that big of an issue but you kinda start to notice it once you know its there and can get a little frustrating knowing you're about to see a little lag/pause.
