I'm not super smart on 5.1 and the greater but I was wondering if there were such thing as wireless 5.1, 6.1, and so on surround sound. It's just silly to have so many cords everywhere, i'd trip (no matter how small or good they can look).

I've heard of 5.1 systems, that had wireless speakers, for the rears. I've never heard of a 6.1/7.1 wireless system. That doesn't mean there aren't any though. Do a Google search.............

I'm don't think I'd like wireless, personally. Something else to go wrong. You can run speaker wires under the house, or behind the shoe moulding, running around the room. You can also run the wires through the attic. You won't trip on them, if you use any of these ways. Guaranteed! :o)
