it's a bit lame right now, but we'll improve it once we have more time. Please send us feedback if you have problems. All submitted guides are subject to basic rules:
-freely usable by AfterDawn Ltd
-you own the copyrights to the material you submit and allow us to use the material freely on our site
-we WILL credit you for creating the guide
-we have the option to modify the guides users have submitted to us
-you don't have to grant us explicit rights to guide, so you can submit it to many sites and keep it on your own site.
Best guide submitters -- this is rather vague definition, but basically "good content that doesn't require much editing from aD's side and relates, if possible, to digital video somehow" -- will definitely receive a super-cool AfterDawn.com T-shirt later this year :-)

I've submitted one if you want to check it out, i have tried my hardest to get it to fit perfectly in aD layout and look like the other guides you have :-)

I should prolly already know but where exactly do these guides go??? Here? or some obscure arhive somewhere? :P Any format required? (i.e. yay PDF?)

They will appear in "real guides section", i.e. in http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/ once admins have "approved" (and slightly modified) them. That's why the format is in very specific way, the page itself explains the format pretty well and you can play with it freely, just enter a number of paragraphs there and click next and you'll see how the form looks like.

Aw feck thats a pain in the arse :-(
I would have to go through it all seperately. Hmm....
1). Scenario 1: I go through the process, upload the guide and go to bed.
2). Scenario 2: I go to bed and watch some football and do it another time.
Hmmm.....um....ermm......let me think....GOOD NITE ALL :-D

Ok oriphus you go through everything it takes to keep afterdawn going + preparing new layout + having a to-do list that is absolutely massive + have a full time job and a daughter and then write a better script than that in the little time you have! hehe aint gonna happen is it?

so you're looking for some guides for using the programs outlined in afterdawn.
I went to have a look and have just realised I'm a 'Junior', so I'm not allowed to help...
if you bump me up to Member I could have a go at a guide or two, and if you want you could just do this temporaily and demote me again, I don't really mind, but can't help if I don't know format required.
I could always e-mail the guides....

lol - She is either at home (we dont live together) or if she's staying at mine, i wait until she has dropped off to sleep and stick it on for an hour or two and put my headphones on :-D She doesnt tend to notice at all. He he. Anyway, i love football, i even sleep with my United scarf around my neck sometimes :-D
