I am new at this...

I used ConvertXtoDVD to convert a DivX file to DVD Video format, but the sound is way off from the video. I found an associated thread about AVI time offsets and ConvertXtoDVD, but the file suggested was no longer on the site. Help! What can I do to fix this problem???

If the conversion has a constant sync issue from beginning to end, this should fix it. If the sound gradually goes out of sync, it won't, try this instead: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic309224.html For a constant sync issue, drag your original into the top box of AviMux_Gui: http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ and select"generate data", now in the lower window, select "audio" and any delay will appear to the right. If other than 0 appears select "start", name and place your new file as you wish and use that. Remember to use the original file in AviMux_Gui, not the encoded file.

Thanks. It is a constant audio offset (about 4 seconds) through the entire DVD, but when I did what you suggested, the delay shows 0. 8-( I am so confused...

The delay in AviMux_Gui will be shown in ms. I have used this method many, many times and it has only failed once so I would be surprised if it failed now but it's not impossible.
