I have firmware 3.40 OE-A. and having trouble on how to install custom XMB on my PSP.
please help.

fully turn your psp off. then turn it back on and hold the R trigger to access the recovery menu, then go down to advanced and toggle flash0 usb. (with your usb cable connected.
then go to VSH, RESOURCES. the xmb menu file(icons, sub icons, txt etc...) is the topmenu_plugin.rco. make sure you make a back up of all your flash0 incase somet goes wrong.
im guessing youv got the custom xmb file already?

Yes I have the Custom XMB already do I just drag and drop? delete? I still don't get it.
I made a backup already and have 1.50 downgrade ready to go.

toggle flash0. Back up the entire folder. Drag and drop the cutomized files into flash0 (eg topmenu_plugin.rco). Exit.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

when I drag and drop the custom XMB file. the thing says too much memory, does anyone have a tutorial video. please help.

You need to free up some flash, manually or use Flash Agent.
