mario strickers bricked DVD drive. Any solution?

I updated my NTSC Wii with a PAL mario strikers. Since that, the drive stops working. Is it possible to repair it, change the drive or sth. Or the price is too high?

Call Nintendo up and ask how much it would cost to replace the drive. That is pretty much the only solution you have besides buying a whole new Wii System.

Next time I would suggest researching before modding a system. If you researched correctly you would have came across the multiple threads of how to protect yourself from a region brick issue.
