Before I mod my Wii with the wiikey I want to ask some Questions???
Can I Mod my Wii with the firmware 2.2U yes or no?
do I have to Turn off Wiiconnect24 ?
Is there anything I need to do to my Wii before I mod it with the WiiKey ??? Oh Yea It's a USA Version

Yes, Firmware doesn't matter when modding the wii

Wiiconnect24 wont matter because the wii will be totally off

Disassemble it?

Do you know if its v1 or v2? if its v2 you may have to look at a tutorial for it since its not as easy as if it were v1

Question 3) Before modding the Wii turn your Wii counter clockwise 3 times then clockwise 1 time then turn it upside down and say Abracadabra, alacazam! and then proceed to install the Wiikey.

WiiConnect24 does matter because leaving it ON could cause an issue with the time and date being messed up due to the battery being taken out. Having a date and time issue can cause the Weather and News channels from being updated correctly or not at all. This has caused issues with many people modding their Wii systems. So it is recommended to turn it off just as a precautionary measure. After the install you can turn WiiConnect24 back on again.

Really? I never noticed because I left mine on lol though I did have to change my date back but i had just figured it was because of taking the system battery out...Though after changing the date to the right one everything was fine....Anyway now I know

For some reason leaving it on hasn't effected everyone but did effect some. But as a precautionary method it is best to turn it off. It only takes a few seconds to do it.
