Browser M3 DS Simply & GBA Movie player

Hi Again

I have a M3 DS Simply and a GBA Movie Player card which goes into slot 2.

Question is can you use the GBA Movie Player card as your memory for the browser. At present I get a message asking for the memory module to be put in.

I've tried patching the ROM but not sure if I've been successful.

The GBAMP does not have any RAM so no it won't work.

Thanks Mr Hanky - It'll save me trying to get something to work that never will.

I wondered if the CF card in it could be somehow utilized.

Very unlikly, and even if it could, it would be extremely slow (even with the faster CF cards)

If you are really interested in getting the browser working you could buy the official ram pak from nintendo (believe they're about $15) or you could get the EZFlash 3-1 which has the ram needed for the browser ($20 from dealextreme)

Thanks for quick reply - I expect I'll buy the browser with the memory included in the box.

Does the EZFlash 3 -1 have other advantages?

The EZFlash 3-1 also has Rumble for supported roms and allows you to play GBA games.
