Hi i got a PS2.iso file that is 706mb (Army Men RTS) and was wondering if theres a way 2 take a few megabytes off like compress it or something so it can fit onto a cd instead of a dvd disk any help is appreciated

if you get a 800 MB (90 min) CD and your burner supports them you don't need to trim anything, or if your burning app and burner supports overburning you could try overburning a 700 MB disk.

I am using alcohol to burn but also have Nero can any of those programmes do over burns if not do u know of any that can

If i see any i will i dont know where 2 get em from tho never seen em before n army men wouldnt be worth spending the cost of the cd on lol

I don't know what country you live in. In my country, Great Britain, you can buy 800 MB / 90 Min CD-Rs in stores in 10 packs for the same as $10 US money, Philips ones cost $10 for 25 packs on the web.

Yh same from the UK birmingham 2 be exact i never seen them thats probs coz i get all my cd's from puondland £1 for 8 never came across 800mb tho

They sell them in Maplin, Currys Digital, Virgin Megastore, all over the place. I've even seen them in Tesco.

damn tesco i was there a few hours ago ill look nxt time i know their cd's r cheap but yh thanks for the advice much appreciated ill post back here when i got the cds n everythink

You need to make sure they are 90 minute disks. They don't always work with all burner drives but I've used them plenty of times myself. If your drive does not like them they'll still work like normal CD-Rs. You can also get 99 minute disks but they can be very tricky to burn and quite expensive.
