Hi,

I have a few GC iso backup on my computer and my wii is modded with wiikey. Can I just burn the iso to DVD and play the game? I'm still at work for another 2 hours. Can't wait to get home and try it.

Yes, that's the exact idea.. The WiiKey setup disc is a gamecube game just like that.

Hm... can I put my GC mini dvd directly into the wii?

I tried burning a GC backup to a DVD but it doesn't work. I have a few games streamed via my GC broadband adapter few years ago and they are saved in GCM format. I googled and they said you only need to rename it to ISO to burn it. I tried burning with Imgburn and Nero but after inserting it to the wii it says cannot read disc. These disc are the same ones as my wii backups. My wii backups are fine.

Anyone know if I've done anything wrong? Or do I need to change settings on my Wiikey.

My Wii is PAL and the GC games are NTSC (J) and USA.

Hmm I loaded up wiikey 1.2 configure disc and set override all region 6x speed + audio fix.

It now reads the disc but just shows a Nintendo GC logo and black screen afterwards. No response until I turn it off and back on again.

Try using the Wiikey setup disc and launch GCoS and force the GC Games into NTSC using the GCoS operating system.

Even tho Wiikey has the audio fix as an option it doesn't work properly. So there are some games that the Wiikey will not play due to this issue. I don't know of a list but their have been numerous threads started about this subject.
