Oh you wanted a longer answer....?

Ok, You can do it using TMPGEnc Plus. There is a guide on it at www.dvdrhelp.com i think

MainConcepts mpeg encoder will also convert NTSC into PAL or PAL into NTSC. Its a simple interface which doesn't really require a guide! :D

It is not as simple as that. If you do it that way you will only create poor conversions and jerky videos.
There are lots of steps in between and you most certainly do need guides. That is if you want to achieve quality results.

Canopus Procoder is hands down the best way to do this IMHO. It converts to audio and video simultaneously, and maintains perfect audio sync every time.
Since you are going from NTSC to PAL (I was going the other way) you can also use DVD2SVCD, which has an "NTSC to PAL" option on the encoding panel. There is a guide on dvdrhelp.com explaining how to reconfigure the DVD2SVCD setup to produce DVD-ready streams.
Like Procoder, using DVD2SVCD would make it pretty much a "one click" solution.

I have Procoder and even with that you can get jerky video on panning scenes especially.
I frameserve to Procoder. I am getting much better results than when I just used Procoder alone. Now I have no jerkyness.
(This is on NTSC 23.976 AVI to PAL 25.00 DVD)

I use MainConcepts or either TMPGEnc plus to convert NTSC into PAL with excellent results!
I don't get jerky videos or poor quality. If Pagey wants a simple solution, then this is it!

I'm no expert but I do read a lot about this and simply entering a NTSC DVD mpeg into a PAL DVD template will not achieve the best results.
I'm glad your method works for you.
But there is more to it if you want to achieve the best end product u can.
