My DVD drive can only write 4x-8x but no 2x.


is that ok? or do I have to buy another writer?

That's OK, just burn at 4X.

yeah 4x is fine for all my games, the quality of the media is more important than the burn speed

More then likley it is the Media that is limiting the burn speeds not your writer.

But 4x is also the speed the I write mine at as well.
