Is there ever going to be a DL DVD+/- RW. I'd love to have the bigger size for just trying things out.

+R DL and -R DL media is expensive enough, without getting into DL/RW media! RW media isn't very stable, so I'm guessing they won't bother with DL/RW.

there is dash R and plus R in DL but i don't see a RW DL in the future either

The DVD Forum approved specs for JVC's DVD-RW DL disc almost a year ago. The only disc with a lower market share than DVD-RW is DVD-RAM; so the marketing is not the best. One other thing--it won't play on any existing players because the VOB files have had to be renamed. Brilliant!
