So heres waht i want to do, i have a tower gateway pc and its nothing but in the way. I put my monitor on a coffe table and the pc obviously wont fit under the table. Would TURNING the pc on its side be harmfull to the hardware such as the disk drives, motherboard, processor, hard dirve and ram? Also is it possible to transfer my entire computer, motherboard and all to a sideways case? If so, waht are the risks?

no harm will happen. yes can transfer parts to a regular desktop case as that is what my pc is. a desktop case on it's side is a tower.

Be wary of Overheating if on it's side and make sure good circulation of air.

If transfering parts from one unit to another one, be aware of static, ground yourself to the computer with either a static strap or keeping one hand in contact with PSU-casing. Don't touch the chips in the boards if at all possible.
