ok i have a cd burner on my comp. i borrowed a friends dvd and bought some blank dvd-r's.
i want to copy it but when i go to my copying program it wont let me copy, it says that no media was inserted to my cd burner.
somebody please help me!!!!

it looks to me that you're trying to burn dvd-r's in a cdr burner. that would the same as playing a dvd in a cd player : that doesn't work. you'll need a true dvd burner to burn those empty dvd-r's

Oh geez, my grandad's vinyl albums don't fit into my CD drive. Same thing. DVD burners cost around $300-500.
