well...my friend has given me a DVD made in Vietnam which is about the scenery and info about the Vietnamese Travel. He asked me to help me burn the DVD. But my DVD burner is regional protected. Hence I used the registered version of DVDIdle pro to free the region. But it seems that I could play the DVD on Nero but cannot use ImgBurn to rip it. I really need some help with this. The drive also doesn't recognize it.

Is this an original retail dvd or is like a homemade dvd?
Try ripping w/ DVD Decrypter.
Update the firmware on the drive too if it's not up to date.

Somebody recorded it themselves then made copies of it.
Is the bottom of the disc silver or a different color?
If it's silver it's pressed instead of burned and a retail/masss production dvd.

No is the regular DVD with purple bottom. I guess it is the copy of the original DVD.

Ok check and make sure your drives firmware is up to date.

Then try ripping it w/ decrypter (link above)
