What is the wii being bricked all about, what does it do?

If you get a game (like Super Paper Mario), and have a modchip installed on your Wii, you need to make sure that you Update your system to the latest Firmware, so that it avoids being Bricked! Some games for the Wii, now come with an update, so if you didn't have your system Updated, and you put the disc in, it would BRICK your Wii! When you Wii is Bricked, it cannot be fixed! It won't work! So you got to update the system manually, by going into the Wii Options, and going to Updates! Once the Wii is updated to the latest Firmware, The Games will play fine!
