I want to use quality discs for my PS2 backups, like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, but you can only order them online right? And I can't do that. So what media do you guys recommend that I can get from like Fry's and/or Micro Center? I don't want to use Memorex DVD-R x16 anymore, even though it works, afraid it will mess up.. -Dr. Evil quote quote style- "Zeh laser."
if you can find Sony or Fujiflim DVD+R or DVD-R 8x media thats "Made In Japan" thoses will code out as Taiyo Yuden ,so YES you can buy TY in store. and almost every store carries Verbatim so there easy to find.
Quote:Alright, Sonys are better than Fujis?
most the time the Sony will be the best bet MIT Fujifilm code out as prodisc which suck bad but as said if you can fine them MIJ there TYs but thats unlikely
We shall go to the end,we shall fight in France,we shall fight on the seas and oceans,we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,we shall fight on the beaches,we shall fight on the landing grounds,we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,we shall fight in the hills;we shall never surrender
So, where should I go to get the discs, Micro center, Fry's, or Best Buy? Which do you think will have more variety and quality? And is 16x okay if they're the only ones I can find? Thanks.
