I tried using Toast but it said the audio file couldn't be burned, something like that. Then I burned the .iso with disk utility, but the game wouldn't show up in the Wii's menu.

The game I downloaded was Excite Truck (NTSC) from Demoind, and I have a US launch version Wii with WiiKey.

the first step is to not tell people your illegally downloading games ^^

the second step is to search

the third step is to read the stickies

Yeah, I tried disc utility.

Could the torrent be wrong, or maybe i'm using a bad DVD-R? I also tried a search already.

Okay this is weird. I downloaded DBZ for NTSC Wii, just to see if the Excite truck torrent was corrupted, but DBZ didn't play when I inserted it either.

I got a modded Wii with WiiKey, and 40 burned discs, so far all the games I've played that I didn't burn, play flawlessly. I'll try burning Excite Truck and DBZ it on a friends PC. What burning programs do you use for Windows XP?

no luck. Tried on both an iMac G5, and an intel MacBook Pro.

I've been using DVD+Rs, I doubt that's the problem, but I switched to a DVD-R, so MAYBE that might work.
