Disk error when battling online in pokemon revolution

I just backed up pokemon battle revolution and I keep getting disk reading errors. I only get a disk reading error when I'm battling online. Is this the efforts of Nintendo or is it probably just a faulty disk?

Well..... if it is a disc error, then it is a disc error. Not a 'Nintendo' error. Try getting a new disc.
