heres what i did, i bought the xbox from cgx broken, i didnt ask what was wrong with it, i just bought it and thought id take my chances, well when i got it home it wouldnt power on, so i bought a new psu from ebay, now it powers on, but i get error 21, so i attempted to get it boot buy restoring the hdd via hotswap using a backup i had of another xboxs hdd, it still booted to error 21, so i tried another backup from another modded xbox, and it booted evox, but i couldnt do anything, no FTP, no games, no anything, evox even thought the xbox was a 1.0, but thats not the point, so now i know its the hdd files, so then i tried to restore it using the "build hdd from scratch" option in xboxhdm, it didnt work, still got error 21, so i took the drive out, unlocked it, and relocked it to one of my 1.0 xboxs and it booted fine, also it has the latest dash, and the onlineupdater.xbe, so this pretty much confirms for me that the stock 1.6as hdd requires a file or something that the 1.0 - 1.5 xboxs dont require, i think there may be a difference in the e drive, cause ive heard of someone fixing this my getting ahold of the original 1.6as e drive files, which i cant get, because i bought the xbox like that, i have another 1.6a but i cant get the eeprom from it because it doesnt power on, and i cant seem to get power to the eeprom, so ive given up on that, so the main thing id like to get ahold of is a hdd clone of a 1.6a hdd, or at least its e drive files, id really appreciate it if someone could help me out
