What do you mean spare?
Free disk Space?
Amount of memory used?
The task manager's 'commit charge' gives you a fair idea of your memory usage, and you can find out how much you have in total from device manager.
As for disk space, click on the relevant drive in my computer.

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the same time, then click on performance. It shows you how much is being used.
