ive just started burning dvds, i use apllo DivX to dvd to convert and burn the files. the movies quality is good not great, but the problem is some times in a area of the film the pic will have green and purple dots but its only there for a sec and it looks like to me the dvd was burnt too fast of a speed. i realy am not good at this stuff so if someone could help that would be great.

Convert the files with this program.
The files will be saved in a folder.

http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe
Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)

Burn the DVD with 'ImgBurn'

Run ImgBurn
Mode > 'Build'
Output > 'Device'
File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK'
Set the burn speed to 4x then click the green write button.

ive tryed to burn with this be4 and it took 25 hours and at the end when i woke up and thought it worked i got an error. :(

The first program converts the file to DVD format.It doesn't burn the dvd.
If it takes more than 'real time' to convert an AVI then either the file is defective or something is wrong with the PC.
(an example would be thirty minutes for a thirty minute video)

The second program burns the DVD.
If it takes more than fifteen minutes to burn the DVD, there is something terribly wrong with the PC.
