Trouble with SHN files

Hi

I am trying to convert SHN files to MP3, having no luck,
I have tried to download mkwACT but had no luck , cant get it to install, and dBPowerAmp doesnt want to work either (with the codec installed).

Any other free programs i can try,

Why don't you just use Shorten to decompress the SHN files to WAV, then to MP3?

Ok i downloaded the Shorten program, but when i double click the Exe file to install it i just get a black screen flash up for about half a second and the program doesnt seem to install, what am i doing wrong ?
