Hi, and i would also like to thank everyone who posts daily to help many people with thier problems.

I just bought my wii today, and im going to get it modded soon. I establised a wireless connection onto the wii, and performed the system update. It said that my Wii was up to date and did not need any updates. I find this strang, as i thought it should update at least once.

Is there any way you can find out what version your wii is, like 2.2 or 2.1, and also if its version according to Region.

Sorry for my bad englisyh, it is a second language to me.

Yes,in the Wii settings screen. The letter after the firmware number will tell you what region. In the US it's "U"(e.g.2.2U), Europe it's "E" in Japan "J".

You can find the version you are on in the top right hand corner of the Wii settings page.

As of now 2.2U/2.2E/2.2J is the latest firmware.
