When I use CloneDVD to make a backup of a DVD movie, the end product shows up as Video_Ts/Audio_TS files when I attempt to play it on my pc. It plays fine on a portable dvd or stand alone dvd players. What am I doing wrong?

Does it show up as files on each of your DVD drive's (Rom/writer etc)?

Have you also tried playing the DVD with PowerDVD or winDVD on your computer?

I only have a DVD/CD writer combo drive. The files will play if I click on the Video_ts file tho. Other softwares I have use, when I insert the DVD it automatically plays the movie. But not when I use CloneDVD. Anymore suggestions out there? TIA

Um...Thats perfectly normal for it to show up as seperate files. Didnt you burn it as a DVD ROM UDF/ISO? All you need to do to play it is to select the VIDEO_TS.IFO folder, right click and play with...

Seems like it was burned as mpg2. Bah!! I'll stick to smartripper/dvd2one/nero.
