I have a Ripped DVD , someone else ripped, Plays on one of my DVD players but won't play on a newest acquired DVD player, Samsung HT-X50.
rip the DVD? Or just forget about it?

Sure it isn't a PAL disk in an NTSC player and maybe has the region code not matching the player?

Maybe your player only reconizes DVD -Rs and this one is a +R....

No luck with the format
DVD player accepts DVD-R
DVD-R , I'll get another DVD player and try that way.
