I bought the wii KNOWING that I wasn't buying the best graphics out of the 3 consoles but I've always been a huge Nintendo fan and know I'm not going to be dissapointed. My question is, What exactly are the wii graphics capable of? I've read on many sites that for example call of duty 3 was a big failure graphically on the wii. I know they could of done much better because the wii is surely capable of more and if they put a little more time into it it would of been a decent game graphic wise. I would truly like to see a game that merges both wii-mote gameplay style AND graphics. Does anyone know if there is a developer or a game (FPS games) that is tryin to combine the both? I'm talking about a wii-exclusive game that they spent a lot of time on to bring our hopes up.

While the graphics won't be "mind blowing high tech" Super Mario Galaxy will definitely be amazing.

ya i know those games are going to be good, like smash bros mario galaxy, but other than metroid prime 3, will there be any other good graphic first person shooter game? i know there is going to be an online medal of honor game but i cant realy find any screenshots or anything

It really depends on the developer. A lot of times it has to do with how intelligent the programmers are in how they take advantage of the hardware. Look at resident evil 4 on the gamecube for example. Probably one of the best looking games on the cube. I've seen some in gameplay videos for final fantasy crystal chronicles for the wii and it looks pretty impressive. Square Enix has always been really good at taking advantage of the hardware. Though, the wii can't render anything that uses pixel shader 4 or directX10 like the PS3 and Xbox 360. You're just not going to see those kinds of textures. I'm happy with the Wii. I mostly do graphic intensive gaming on my PC.
