I just bought some HD cables for my PS2 to hook up to my TV. When i hook it up, it works fine, i can see the screen clearly, but when i go to Progressive Scan, the TV starts flashing and everything starts jumping around and stuff. What am i doing wrong and what can i do to fix it?

terryn0, it would help if we knew what type of tv you have. It sounds like your TV doesn't except 480p over component video (480i only). Sounds like you have an SDTV or an older Tube tv.

Yeah you can buy cables for it and hook it in. Most of the games even have progressive scan in the options menu. Read on the box your PS2 came in, it tells you somewhere on there that it does support progressive gameplay.

I meant the model number of the TV. It should be on the back of the TV or on the front of the manual. Maybe even on the receipt?
