my laptop wont recognise my new internal dvd drive

I have replaced my old cd combo drive with a dvd rw drive and my laptop wont recogise the new drive. I know it has charge because the light flashes when i put in a disc but it wont show up in My Computer.

How can i solve this?
THere are now drivers that came with it? I have tried to install firmware but i dont know how to run .BIN files.

Any help gratefully appreciated.
