cant back up movies using iomega dual drive

I am using an iomega dvd dual drive with dvd x copy express. The copying process looks as if it will be successful and a message comes up at the end saying it was successful but when i try to play it on the pc it says unknown file format and nothing at all happens in a dvd player. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

they will be able to help you better. Can you look at the files on the backup? I am not sure what else might be happening--it's hard to tell if its a drive/burn issue vs a software issue.
