Before thinking this is a thread of me boasting that I am a Wii guru please read the thread fully.
I have had some members call me a Guru I am far from a Guru.
Everything I know is from past threads that have been created and answered by others in this forum. It is just a pity others don't use all that past knowledge to figure out that the answer to their question more then likley has been answered already in a past thread.
Instead a big majority of the newer members just want an answer and want to get that answer in the least amount of effort it will take.
So for you newer members or members that have a little seniority if your new to the Wii modding scene use the forum to your benefit and read read read you to could become a so called Guru.
Why don't you make this a page you update with info, and people can ask you questions...Then you can make a list on here and have it in subjects like...Unstalling...Hombrew...etc...
Bcause most answers have been answered already
I'm also geting a little tired of people asking the same questions without searching the forums first :/ repeated questions like "wiikey install messed up" "how to download a wii game" "extracting a wii game" all of this stuff has been answered before, but people still ask about the same thing @_@

Why should I or any other member start a thread with links to all the topics you have suggested above?
Members need to get off their ASS and start finding out the information for themselves. It is here in the forum and needs to be utilized VIA search function or by going threw the threads all togther.
Hell I have read threads that I had no reason to read. I just read them to gain more knowledge in case I ever needed that knowledge in the future.
Even if I did make a thread as you have suggested it still wouldn't matter because members would just skip over the thread and still ask questions that would have already been answered in the thread if I had made it.
I made a region brick thread and even had a MOD sticky it so people would have that information. Has it stopped other threads from being created about how to fix a brick or how to prevent a brick? No that question is still asked on a daily basis.
The point of this thread was to make new members aware that they could learn and be as knowledgeable of the Wii modscene if they just took the time and read up on all these great threads that are just sitting here waiting to be read.
I just hate it when people say wow your so knowledgeable and a guru when I know all they would have to do to be knowledgeable as me is to read the past threads that have been created and answered by other well knowledgeable members.

That is true.
People want a 'quick fix' to thier problem... but they are also the non-contributing memembers of the society here.
I by no means am of assistance when it comes to modding a Wii (I fubar'd mine, and had to go to a pro), so I keep to myself here.
My thoughts:
Its like walking into someones house, you shouldn't just walk in and demand snacks from them (help), if theres a table of free snacks right outside the door (stickys) that will help you with everything. hahah
Hey maybe you guys can help me with all your knowledge then. I have been having issues with rawdump 2.0 I have turned both controllers into pio transfer mode because I don't know which one to change. I have a LG drive in an enclosure case connected to my laptop via USB 2.0. Sometimes when I click rawdump.exe it will give me an option to select the wrong drive twice. Other times it will have an option to pick either drive. When I select any of them I get a faulty drive error. I am really stressed trying to figure this out and any help would be much appriciated. Thanks and praise the guru lol
^^ that's actually a decent question, but you should have it in a thread that is titled properly instead of thread-jacking (only because it makes it easier to search for the answer ;) )
