I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this one... Do you think nintendo will eventually update the wii so it can detect the presence of a modchip? And if so, are we all screwed? I'm getting my wii modded soon but dont want to be in a situation where the wii wont work right w/ a modchip

The Chip is stealth. It turns off when the backup loads.

got a buddy that works for Nintendo.
He told me they are years from detecting the mod chips.
he owns one of the first modded systems.
My guestimate of them detecting the mods in the Wii systems.
not until the final console is made in 2010
