So, if i want to play GC games on the wii, i need a GC controller right?
can I also use it to play virtual console games? or do I have to use the classic controller. Can someone please clarify for me? thanks a lot.

Yes GC games need GC controller. Not to sure about Virtual Console games.

Yep. GC controllers on GC games. For virtual console you can use the GC controller on all of the games.

thanks a lot! theres a store in my area that sells 2nd hand GC controllers with decent price/quality. The classic controller is a bit of a rip off lol (IMO).
