Buy a wireless router it's much easier.

You could also buy a Wii WiFi adapter that plugs into your PC USB port.
But the issue would be the distance your WIi system is from your PC.
A wireless router or Wii WiFi adapter might not work if you can't receive the signal because the WIi is to far from the PC or router.

The choice between wifi-adapter and wireless router isn't really a choice at all. Seriously, they both cost about the same, but one of them serves only one purpose and needs computer turned on.

yeah i would say router would be your best choice, because if you ever got more than one computer or a laptop, you can have multiple internet connections.
plus, with a router, i believe you can get one with a decent range so you dont ever have to worry about range.

no, the router takes the one connection in your house and breaks it up into multiple connections so you can have up to like 20 wireless things like laptops and consoles on it and usually around 4 wired things as well. You internet bill will not change

You can have more then 20 wireless hookups and 4 wire port hookups. But what home network would ever use that many wireless hookups.

The wireless modem will have a Cable/DSL modem port that is separate from the other 4 wired ports.
All computers or other components you have hooked to the Wirless router will get Internet connection from the router since the Cable/DSL moden is connected to it.

how is your modem connected to the psp?
anyways, here's what you do with a router. plug your modem into your router, then plug anything else into that router. since the psp has wifi, you can use the internet wireless-ly. a router costs money but does not make you pay more for internet. it takes taht one existing internet port and turns it into multiple ports
