I've "acquired" the so-labeled NTSC version (just the PAL version converted is what I hear). My firmware is updated to 2.2U already. If I play this do I chance getting bricked??

Took the plunge... here's what happened:

Put the disc in and the Wii System Update screen came up and prompted to update. Clicked OK (my firmware is at 2.2U so I "should" be safe) updates attempted to install, the Wii rebooted and I was fine. No brick, the game works. Everything is okee-dokee in the Land of Wii.
