1.)i dont know what kind of types does ps2 reads.
2.)I downloaded a psx game and burn it into a CD-R(not CD-RW) and is not working.

i need some one to help me if u can pleas help me my version of my ps2 is "SCPH-39001" please help i need to do this quick....

Your ps2 must be modded before it will play burnt psx or ps2 games.

you can get psx backups to work on SOME models of ps2 without a modchip. theres a few arguments on the forum about it.

do you have a modchip? swap magic +fliptop/slide card?

modded ps2's can read just about everything but HDdvd and Blue Ray.
better media is a plus. burn it at half the rated max of your media, but no lower than 4x. (general rule of thumb, though theres arguments on that one too ;]= )
