I got my grand father a old laptop so he could play scrabble, it loads scrabble to the point of the game but won't load the scrabble board. I think I have encountered the same kind of thing and think it might be something to do with the graphics card.
the game is ubisoft scrabble 2005
the laptop has;
intel celeron,
256ram
not sure of graphics card as it opperate windows proffesional 2000, I have never used this before only xp/vista.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
Sorry it took so long to reply been on holiday, I'm not too sure of the graphics card but will check as soon as I can. I think the scrabble came with directX 9, it requires at least an ATI Radeon 7000 which I think is 64mb, thats pretty low but the laptop is pretty old.
Do you think it is the graphics card, the cpu/ram/hdd space all seem compatable.
