Props to sniper78

The only problem I have had with lxfactor is that he takes his time on getting the ID's, but I have been using his ID's for a while and I thank him. However, I have an easier method of getting ID's for your games.

When going to patch the game your numbers look like this:

XX XX FF 30 ZZ

1. FF can either be
00
01
02
03
04

2. 30 Stays the same that is if it is an NTSC game

3. ZZ can either be

BC
A4
64
F4
24
C4
8C

When you have the full code

ex: XX XX 04 30 24

Just fill in the X's with any number 1-9.

Final ex: 11 11 04 30 24 (don't use)

This method has been proven to work.

Thank you, and Special thanks to lxfactor for getting all of those ID's!

Ya I showed him this when I made an ncaa 08 dna$ id for him, and was I hope this works or its a waste of a dvd. It worked for him, and me. I have also have done this with guitar hero 2, and all greg hastings.

In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Yea, i tried a few of these on some game, and it dont work, some do though... Maybe I might of messed up, or that the online for that game i tried isnt available at that time... Haven't tried that "universal" ID yet though. However i don't really care.
Also, do any of u think that sony might stop supporting Online PS2 games later on? Or do u guys think they will, but later on they will put them back online when technology grows, and PS2 games would download as fast as DS games? or something like that?

Hey, I am new to this modification of the dnas file, but I feel I am pretty computer literate. Where exactly are the hex values that you should be changing. I checked the dnasxxx.img file and could not find the values you reference.

Where exactly do you start changing these values?

I have been successful with modifying NASCAR 07 by renaming the ioprp300.img file on the Sony PS2 disc to DNAS300.img. But when I try to do the same for NASCAR 08 it will not run.

BTW - I am using USBExtreme and a slim line PS2 with a external USB hd.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from someone.

Thanks,
