I did the search, looked through a ton of posts, did not find anything about this DVD+RW drive. Must be a good thing, no one saying its crap, but then again no one complementing it. Let me know if I made a bad purchase, give me your thoughts. thanks.

ok, lol i'll answer my own question.... i have a 4 1/2 year old RCA dvd player for my home theater system, first DVD i backed up works perfectly, 5.1 surround and all. took 13 mins to burn the DVD. I cant complain one bit.

hi ive just got a new dvd and using dvd x copy..liteon+-rw but having problems withcoping dvds whats the best dvd media to buy

People have said that you have to use brands like TDK, Maxell, sony, etc with the Lite-on dvd burners. I'm pretty mad that u cant use unbranded dvd-r's and +r's. I just bought a Lite-on dvd burner ..411 and haven't tryed it yet. I'll probably buy a 25 pk of fuji to try it out.
