Can i use wifi link just the same way as wifi max to play games with xlink kai ? Game i will try to play ( when i get wifi link , if it works as same way ) is Monster Hunter Freedom.Can someone make some guide how to get online with that game using x link kai and wifi link ? ( if it's eaven possibble ? )

iv actaully looked into it b4 and u can play ur psp with xlink kai. search google and youtube for tutorials cos theres loads ov em around. soz i cnt help n e more then that

I don't think he's asking if it works or not; he wants to know if wifi link (a wireless hotspot) will work that same as his wifi max (a usb dongle that routes the internet).

The answer to which is NO, the Wifi link will most likely not run xlink kai, mainly because Wifi Link does not have an ad-hoc mode, which is necessary for the PSP to communicate with the xlink servers.

Now, if you don't have it working with Wifi max, I can help you with that; I'm actually playing Monster Hunter Freedom right now using it.

No, you cannot do that with Wifi Link, you have to use a wifi max using that method.

Why don't you just buy a WiFi Max? It's only about $4.00(US) more expensive.
