I just bought a Toshiba 50HM67 DLP HDTV, but now I am having some buyer's remorse and I'm wondering if I should exchange it for an LCD or Plasma. I got a really good deal on it from CC, $900. What do you guys think? The only thing that really makes me weary about DLP is replacing the bulb every 2 years, and it seems like DLPs have a lot more moving parts than other TV's, so I'm thinking that they can break down more often.
I've got the same TV and have nothing to complain about. It's been a good TV so far and since I won it at a poker tournament, I think a couple bulb changes are well worth it.
Everyone has their likes, but I never really liked the look of the LCD when I was looking for a television. And for the price you paid for your 50", your looking at a fair bit more for a LCD.

I think he needs to receive some gay porn at his work email to remind him why we don't post emails here. Just a thought.
Back to the question, if you're happy with the PQ of the TV then why not just keep it. You'll pay more for a 50" LCD or plasma set then your current DLP. I have a Sony KDS-50A2000 which is a RPTV w/ a blub and when I was shopping around replacing a blub was the last thing I worried about. Enjoy your TV!
