I just installed a new Pioneer dvr-112d. Works alright. Rips great. But after i burn a disc, Nero (Nero 7 came with the burner) or any other burning program (Decryptor, etc.) will stop recognizing it. I then have to restart the computer to get any program to recognize the drive again. So i have to burn 1 disc then restart, Every time. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Also. The drive is wicked loud. Sometimes it makes this horrible grinding noise like it is destroying the disc inside. But after it's all done the disc turns out fine. Could that be because i don't have it mounted perfectly because i didn't have the proper screws? It's tight, just not super locked in place.
