Hi just joined, and I could really use some help please! i have recently bought two gadgets an Aigo MP-E235 media player and also a Pikaone hardive, Both supposedly support xvid and divx etc, so far i have had nothing but trouble regarding getting video to play with the soundtrack, oh they both play the video just fine but no sound, no problems with mp3 tracks or photos just video.
I have tried converting using nero 6 to various file types but despite what the manuals say no joy, the aigo ont play video with sound, the pikaone wont play dvds ripped from non commercial dvds with sound either I have checked pikaones website and the firmware hasnt been updated so i can transfer video from my samsung nv3 camera but same problems no sound, I have thought logically about this and as there is a divx video clip actually on the hardrive that comes with the unit the lightbulb went on try divx software but which ? it would be great to actually get these toys to actually do what they say on the boxes and not half a job , tried ringing aigo the chap cou;ldnt even tell me how to reformat the fat32 hardrive no instructions on how to either in the manual you are supposed to know! how to format it using ghost partition magic anyway can you more experienced people on afterdawn help id be really grateful thanks neil
