This is my first post here, g'day everyone.
I'm getting an invalid address error while burning dvds on nero 7. I've tried several brands of dvds and every speed except 2x. It always gives me the same error. I've read a few threads here about it and it seems like the causes vary so I want to find out what's going on in my case in particular before spending money on a new burner. I have a Philips SDVD8820.
Here is my log:

Hi ral84

Here's a couple of suggestions:
DiskPeripheral : FUJITSU MHV2060BH atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off
CdRomPeripheral : PHILIPS DVD+-RW SDVD8820 atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: Off

Turn DMA back on for the hard drive and the burner. Here's a guide.

File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS' & File 'Drivers\InCDfs.SYS': Ve
Roxio and Nero don't always play well toegther esp. w/ Nero's InCD installed.
Uninstall Roxio and run the zap tool. If you're not using InCD uninstall that to and run the clean tool

Give those a go and let us know.

It works now! Sorry for the late response, I was out of town for work.

It even made my computer faster. And to think I was about to buy a new burner. Thanks a million.
